Revere Instrumental Performing Groups and Accomplishments
Marching “Minutemen” — The marching band competes in Ohio Music Education Associations sanctioned events. The band has entertained the football audiences with music from “The Doors”, the sound track from “Moulin Rouge” as well a few classics from British composers. This season the marching band will be performing the main themes from “The Mask of Zorro, Robin Hood-Prince of Thieves and Pirates of the Caribbean. The band marches in the Bath and Richfield Community Day Parades. In the past, the band marched the Football Hall of Fame parade in Canton, Ohio, the Woolly Bear Parade in Vermillion, Ohio, and the Magical Music Days Parade in Orlando Florida.

Symphonic Band — The symphonic bands perform three concerts a year and is adjudicated at large group events hosted by the Ohio Music Education Association. The symphonic band has been awarded “Outstanding Ensemble” and a Gold Medal at the Orlando, Florida, Festival of Excellence competition (2004), Gold Medal with Music Showcase Festival, Sandusky, Ohio (2005), and a gold medal at The Three Rivers Festival, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (2002), gold medal at the Dixie Classic in Virginia Beach, Virginia (2006), and gold metal at Festival Disney in Orlando, Florida (2008).

Solo and Ensemble — Members of the Symphonic band participate in the local OMEA solo and ensemble competition each year. The Revere Brass Choir, Woodwind Choir, and Percussion Ensemble have received superior and excellent ratings in class A over the last nine years.
Winter Guard —The Winter Guard started six years ago and competed in the Mid-East Performance Association circuit and will compete in the “new” Ohio Indoor Performance Association circuit this winter. The guard attends five local shows and the championships at the end of March.
Musical Pit Orchestra — Band members who wish to not sing and dance on stage with the Revere Players can play a supporting role in the musical pit. Depending on the style and time period of the show chosen, selected band members to fill the instrumentation. We have performed: 42nd Street, Joseph and his Amazing Colored Dream-coat, Bye, Bye Birdie, Guys and Dolls, Anything Goes, My Fair Lady, Once Upon a Mattress, Crazy for You, and The Music Man.
Basketball Pep Band — The Pep band plays at all home boy’s basketball games. The pep band performs music from the football season as well as favorites of the students from years past. This past season the band played for the two very exciting girls basketball games
