FUNDRAISING
This is our big fundraising event for the year…..
The support raised through the community with this event, carries us through the year helping to pay for awards, competition costs, equipment, instruments and many more. That’s why it’s important everyone participates.
When?
1) August 9, 2008 - Saturday
9:00 am - 2:00 pm
What is Tag Day”:
Accompanied by a parent driver, the students visit door-to-door our communities of Richfield, Bath, and Revere Local School District areas of Akron and Copley asking for their support by accepting tax deductible donations. Scheduled are 2 days to cover these routes. Please watch for more details.
Where to Start?
Everyone participating should meet at the Revere High School Auditorium at a designated time (9 am). The students and parent drivers will check in with event coordinators. Students are divided into small groups and assigned to a volunteer parent driver. Instructions, safety reminders, information, and specific route information is provided to the group prior to departure. Lunch and beverages will be provided in the auditorium. Everyone is invited back to the auditorium to stop in for lunch and then can return to their routes, or when convenient after Noon until 2 pm. Everyone is to return back to the auditorium at 2 pm.
Student Credit:
For all students participating in tag days, 40% of the total collected by all routes that day will be divided equally among all participating students.. If your route only collects $100 and another route collects $500, each student will earn the same credit for their participation. It’s a group activity and everyone shares in the success of the group. Refer to “Students” page for student credit information, accounts, and basis for credits awarded.
